I. Access to Records. TRG maintains accurate records of the operation of the Academy as well as all Academy records created by or owned by TRG, and all such records will be retained for a longer period of (a) five years or (b) as required by applicable state, local or federal record keeping guidelines. All financial, educational and student records relating to the Academy and the Academy`s property. These records are subject to michigan`s Freedom of Information Act and must be physically stored in the Academy`s physical facilities or directly in the Academy`s facilities and kept in accordance with Michigan Department of Education guidelines. All teacher and administrator certification records, criminal history and non-professional behavioural examinations, as well as a copy of the staff manual, must be physically kept on site or directly accessible in the Academy`s facilities. TRG and the Academy maintain appropriate confidentiality of staff, students and other records as required by law. FIT shall provide the Academy with all information that the Council of Academies deems necessary to fully comply with its obligation under the Agreement, and at least the information that a school district is required to disclose under MCLA 388.1618 for the last fiscal year for which information is available, and collects, maintains and provides the Academy with all the information listed in MCLA 380 503 (6) (m) A. Additional Programs. The services provided by TRG to the Academy under this Agreement include the educational program during the school year and the school day as set forth in the Agreement. With the prior approval of the Academy`s Board of Directors, TRG may offer additional programs, including but not limited to adult and community education, summer schools, and other special programs. In cases where TRG is responsible for the cost of providing these additional programs, TRG and the Academy must separate in an agreed relationship between the parties prior to the implementation of these programs, with the Academy having received all revenues, less costs to the Academy caused by these programs. Additional Services. All services that TRG provides to the Academy that are not described in this Agreement are the subject of a separate written agreement. F. Entire Agreement. This Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the services provided and the remuneration for such services. The Council of the Academy and the FIT may not substantially modify this agreement without informing the President of the University. These changes are not contrary to this section and are accompanied by legal notice. The Academy is responsible for submitting all changes to the President of the University within ten (10) days of such change.
(1) The Government shall pay the normal tuition fees and tuition fees for educational services provided to a student by the institution as part of its normal study plan and the tuition fees based on the fees that apply to all students in general. and B. Educational programme. The educational program is defined as follows. The curriculum is as set out in the Academy`s contract and may be adapted and amended from time to time with the prior consent of the Board of Directors and in conjunction with the contract amendment process established by the University Council. TRG is responsible for the following other areas that are part of the educational program: 1. Strategic Planning. TRG supports the Academy Council in developing strategic plans for the continuing education and financial benefits of the Academy.2. Public relations. TRG works with the Academy`s Board of Trustees to develop an ongoing public relations strategy to develop beneficial and harmonious relationships with other organizations and the community that can be implemented jointly by the Academy and its Board of Directors. 3.
Special features. The services that TRG provides to the Academy include, but are not limited to: D. Approved Costs. The Academy Council may pay or reimburse FIT for additional costs incurred by FIT (“Approved Costs”) after proper submission of the documents and approval by the Academy Council, or the Academy Council may advance FIT funds for such approved costs, provided that the fees and expenses for ratification by the Academy Council are available. Only subcontractors` fees for services that do not fall within the scope of FIT and that have been expressly approved by the Academy`s Board of Directors can be considered approved costs. Below is a review of the facts behind this agreement: The Academy is a public school academy organized under the Code. The Academy has received a contract (“agreement”) from the Board of Trustees of Saginaw Valley State University (“University Council”) to organize and operate a public school academy, with the University Council as the authoritative body. The Code allows a public school academy to enter into contracts with persons and institutions for the operation and administration of the public school academy. TRG specializes in providing educational institutions, vocational schools, businesses, churches, and other organizations with a variety of educational services and products, including management, curriculum, educational programs, teacher training, and technology.
FIT`s products and services are designed to meet the needs of a diverse student body. The Academy and TRG have formed a lasting educational partnership, with the Academy and TRG working together to bring educational excellence and innovation to the Saint Clair County region, based on the FIT School design, comprehensive educational curriculum, institutional principles and management methods. In order to continue the implementation of an innovative educational program at the Academy, the parties wish to conclude this agreement for the management and operation of certain educational and administrative activities or functions of the Academy.
